A Trooper made a traffic stop Monday night that led to the discovery of over seven poounds of marijuana and charges for two Washington state men.

Roseburg police detectives are looking into an incident where a 31-year-old transient from the Roseburg area was allegedly punched, causing him to fall and hit his head. He later died at a Eugene hospital.

Aaron Thomas Martin, 18, is in the Douglas County Jail, after he was transferred from the Juvenile Detention Center. Martin allegedly distributed unlawful pictures of an underage girl.

City crews have located the water leak that caused a water use conservation notice. The restriction has been lifted.

Harvey Steven Cale, 45, was found guilty on 23 charges of encouraging child sex abuse, plus charges of sodomy, using a child in sexual conduct and manufacturing and possessing marijuana.
